Family pushing for change after 19-year-old hit, killed while riding bike

HILLSBORO Ore. (KPTV) – A family is calling for action after a 19-year-old was struck by a car and died while riding his bicycle home in Hillsboro.

“It’s your worst fear as a parent to lose a child. I think there is a lot of shock you don’t expect it, you don’t think it’s real. I’m still having a hard time believing it’s real,” said mother Charli Navarro.
