An 18-year-old woman charged in a 2024 Horry County slaying is now headed to adult court, officials confirmed. Nashyiah Vereen was 16 when Horry County police arrested her for the November 7, 2024, shooting death of 19-year-old Daquan Wright.
The incident occurred at a home on Fowler Road in the Conway area.
