An Iowa City developer’s plan to redevelop a former battery factory in Waterloo is moving forward as they work to get funding secured.
Astra Commons is planning a $7 million redevelopment of the three-story, 25,000-square-foot building that once housed the Central Battery and Electric Co., and served the automotive industry.
