A federal jury on Wednesday found former St. Louis tax preparation business owner Latasha L. Frison guilty of 16 counts of aiding and assisting in the preparation and presentation of false and fraudulent tax returns.
Frison, 39, operated a downtown St. Louis tax preparation business under several names, including Taxed Rite. At the time of the offenses, she lived in Cahokia and now resides in Texas.
Evidence presented during the trial, which began Monday, showed that Frison prepared fraudulent tax returns for six taxpayers covering tax years 2020 through 2023.
