POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A 32-year-old Wisconsin woman trying to catch a flight home from Orlando International Airport was arrested Tuesday on felony warrants after she allegedly used her rental car to run down a resort security guard in Davenport, Florida.
The incident began around 9:00 p.m. on July 4, 2026, at the Windsor Island Resort on Aloha Boulevard. According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, Tayquanna Butler of Green Bay, Wisconsin, pulled up to the entry gate in a gray Chrysler Pacifica. When the gate guard told Butler she needed to provide identification or be on an approved visitor list to enter, Butler reportedly asked, “What are you going to do if I drive through?”
The guard advised her against it, but Butler allegedly sped through the entry gates anyway, heading toward Lana Avenue with a female passenger in her vehicle…
