Arkansas U.S. Senate candidate Hallie Shoffner said an individual who appeared to be carrying a weapon came to her home over the weekend looking for a member of her campaign staff.
In a statement released Monday, Shoffner said her husband turned the individual away and the person left without further incident. She said her family was unharmed and thanked the Little Rock Police Department for its response, adding that the incident remains under investigation.
