Police: Man accused of breaking into Phoenix church, spraying paint on K-9

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A 23-year-old man is facing multiple charges after police say he broke into a Phoenix church, damaged part of the building and sprayed paint on a police dog during his arrest.

Court documents say the incident happened Tuesday afternoon at The Light of the World church on Hatcher Road, near Cave Creek Road.

Investigators say Justin Blevins got inside the church and then hid. Inside, he is accused of damaging a bathroom, including pulling wood paneling off the walls, and disabling interior security cameras…
