1 person injured, I-57 northbound shut down for several hours after overnight shooting in Harvey, according to Illinois State Police

HARVEY, Ill. — One person was injured and the northbound lanes of I-57 were shut down for several hours in south suburban Harvey following an overnight shooting, according to Illinois State Police.

All lanes were reopened around 5:30 a.m. Monday.

ISP says troopers responded to I-57 northbound at 127th Street around 12:30 a.m. for the report of a shooting. One person was taken to an area hospital with injuries, which WGN-TV has been told by authorities are not life-threatening…
