Man charged after stabbing victim dies in Baton Rouge

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A man is dead following a stabbing that took place in Baton Rouge on Sunday, July 12.

Dustin Johnson, 39, died at a local hospital after officers found him with a stab wound in the 4000 block of Dawson Avenue around 1 p.m.

Detectives determined that Quinton Johnson, 50, of Baton Rouge, was a suspect in connection with the deadly stabbing.

After turning himself in, the Baton Rouge man was charged with manslaughter and booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison…
