BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner’s Office confirmed that the remains found at the North Landfill are those of the missing 15-year-old, Ja’Derrius Minnieweather.
According to the coroner’s office, with the help of the LSU FACES Lab and the Louisiana State Police Crime Lab, the agencies positively identified the remains of Minnieweather using DNA comparison.
