NEW ORLEANS (NEWS 15) — Flooding continued to inundate New Orleans on Monday, leaving cars submerged on city streets, thousands of residents without electricity, and prompting some to get creative to navigate flooded areas.
The flooding followed a weekend of heavy rain in the Crescent City. Additional rainfall on Monday deepened the crisis, with vehicles unable to pass through several flooded streets.
