New Orleans police are asking for the public’s help finding 50-year-old Dennis Joseph Scarborough, born Nov. 1, 1973, who investigators say is wanted in connection with an armed robbery in the Fifth District. Officers say a gun was displayed and a victim was robbed of a cellphone and sunglasses near Elysian Fields earlier this month.
The department shared photos and case details in an armed robbery alert, saying the holdup happened around 3 a.m. on July 3 near Elysian Fields Avenue and North Derbigny Street.
