Oahu man pleads guilty to transferring $150K from US to Iran without a license

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – An Oahu man pleaded guilty in federal court to transferring more than $150,000 from the U.S. to Iran without a license, in violation of U.S. sanctions.

U.S. Attorney Ken Sorenson announced the plea agreement Wednesday for Arash Einolghozati, 37, a green card holder who lives in Waialua.

His sentencing is set for Oct. 29…
