ALEXANDRIA, Va. (DC News Now) — Detectives were interviewing witnesses late Wednesday night after a man was killed in a shooting at an apartment complex in Alexandria.
The investigation began around 11:14 p.m. on July 15, when officers responded to a report of gunshots in the 5300 block of Holmes Run Parkway, where the ParcView Apartments are located.
Once on the scene, police located a man who had been shot. Alexandria officers tried to save him, but he died at the scene.
