Iowa staying in-house to fill starting quarterback role left by Mark Gronowski

IOWA CITY, Iowa — Iowa’s quarterback competition is underway, with two in-house candidates vying for the starting role. Rather than turning to the transfer portal, the Hawkeyes are choosing to promote from within following Mark Gronowski’s departure.

Quarterback Hank Brown completed 11 passes for 107 yards and a touchdown last season.
