Loudoun sheriff’s office requests information on DEI Chief financial misconduct probe

LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. (7News) — The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office said it has requested information from Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) about an investigation into the school division’s DEI Chief Latisha Ellis-Williams.

The sheriff’s office told 7News that LCPS had not contacted them regarding Ellis-Williams.

According to LCPS policy 4165, “When there is suspected fraud, embezzlement, or fiscal dishonesty, the Department of Human Resources and Talent Development will contact the appropriate law enforcement agency for conducting a criminal investigation unless the Department of Human Resources and Talent Development is a target of the suspected activity.
