SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCBD) – Summerville Dream hosts third Thursday every month, where the historic downtown is transformed into a marketplace complete with a special theme.
Dozens of vendors lined the block for ‘Christmas in July’ right in Hutchinson Square. Organizers said its a local staple, especially as it marks the halfway point towards the winter holidays.
“Now’s a good time to start getting ahead of shopping and coming out during the summertime. Sometimes our retailers are struggling a little bit,” Steven Doniger, executive director of Summerville Dream, said. “This is a way to prop them up and get people to come out and dine, shop, and enjoy downtown Summerville.”…
