LAKEWOOD, Ohio (WJW) – Lakewood police detectives are investigating after a body was found on a beach in the city Thursday afternoon.
According to the Lakewood Police Department, officers and EMS responded to the area of Clifton Beach around 4:14 p.m. after a body reportedly washed up on the west side of the beach.

When they got there, EMS crews checked for vitals, but the man did not have any, investigators said. He was pronounced dead at 4:30 p.m.
According to Lakewood police, the body was a white man, believed to be in his mid-40s to mid-60s.
