EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV)- Several homes were temporarily evacuated Thursday afternoon after a construction crew struck a large-diameter natural gas line, prompting an emergency response from local authorities.
The incident happened near the intersection of Oak Hill Road, and Bergdolt Road, where crews were working in an active construction zone.
