McDonald’s gunman found insane, committed for life

A Toledo man who fatally shot another man in the head at a McDonald’s restaurant on Reynolds Road last year was committed for life to a psychiatric hospital after a Lucas County Common Pleas Court judge found him not guilty by reason of insanity.

Kemarri Anderson, 26, of the 1800 block of Booth Street, had been scheduled for a bench trial June 29, but that proceeding was vacated when Judge Lori Olender ordered a new review of his insanity defense.
