UNION TOWNSHIP, Iowa (KCRG) – The Tiffin Fire Department says a helicopter pilot was taken to the hospital for injuries after a crash Wednesday night in Union Township.
The department says it got a call around 7:44 p.m. that a helicopter spraying crops crashed and was smoking near the 2800 block of Rohret Road SW in Iowa City.
Johnson County’s 911 call center updated crews that a Good Samaritan moved the pilot out of the crash before first responders arrived…
