Wichita court to change how people reserve a spot on the walk-in docket

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — The Wichita court system is making it easier for people to schedule walk-in appointments.

The city announced on Thursday that a new system will be implemented starting Aug. 3. People hoping to get a spot on the walk-in docket will be able to call between 8:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. to get on the list.

Every day, there will be 10 spots that can be reserved over the phone by calling (316) 268-4354. Another 10 spots will be open for people who reserve their spot in person at the Municipal Court Clerk’s Office between 11 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. The docket will be held at 1 p.m.
