The Birmingham Department of Innovation and Economic Opportunity is accepting proposals for its 2027-28 Building Opportunities for Lasting Development funding program, known as BOLD.
Established in 2018, the program awards public funds to businesses to promote economic development in Birmingham.
“The organizations rooted in Birmingham are key catalysts in moving our city toward meaningful, lasting transformation,” Birmingham Mayor Randall Woodfin said. “We remain dedicated to funding efforts that expand economic opportunity and strengthen the overall quality of life in our communities. Maintaining our support for BOLD awardees is a deliberate commitment that strengthens resident empowerment, revitalizes neighborhoods and contributes to a more unified, resilient Birmingham.”…
