NEWBURGH HEIGHTS, Ohio (WJW) – The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash involving a dump truck in Newburgh Heights on Friday afternoon.
Investigators said the crash happened just after 3 p.m. on Harvard Avenue, close to Washington Park Boulevard.
I-Team: Cause of death released for young girls buried in suitcases
According to a preliminary investigation, the driver of a 2006 Mack dump truck was heading east on Harvard when they went off the right side of the road, hitting three utility poles.
The truck then went across the center line, hitting a curb on the opposite side of the road, investigators said.
