MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – The overall forecast for the Mobile and Pensacola area remains on track, with an upper-level ridge keeping rain chances lower than normal through much of the weekend. However, we’re also keeping an eye on a weak tropical disturbance in the northeastern Gulf of Mexico that could have some influence on our weather by Sunday.
Friday and Saturday: Hot, sunny and mostly dry
Expect another pair of very hot summer days with plenty of sunshine and only isolated rain chances.
- Friday: 10% chance of a brief afternoon shower
- Saturday: 20% chance of an isolated afternoon shower or storm
High temperatures will reach the mid-90s both days, with heat index values climbing to 105° to 108° during the afternoon.
