OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium is mourning the death of a beloved cheetah.
According to a social media post from the Henry Doorly Zoo, Chafu, an 11-year-old cheetah, died this week.
The Zoo says Chafu was evaluated and treated for a hiatal hernia. Despite his recovery, Chafu was not able to regain his normal mobility and activity level. Experts at the zoo made the difficult decision to humanely euthanized the cheetah…
