WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – A Sedgwick County man is sentenced to 12 months of probation for insurance fraud.
64-year-old Lance Given pleaded no contest to two misdemeanor counts of fraudulent insurance acts. Officials say that Given gave false information about the location and circumstance of an accident in order to gain coverage for damages to his vehicle that otherwise would not have been covered by his policy.
Along with the 12 months of probation, Given will face 30 days of prison time if his probation is violated…
