WESTLAKE, Ohio (WJW) — Police in Westlake are investigating a case of domestic violence that left a woman dead and her husband jailed.
According to a July 18 new release from police, the Westlake Fire Department received a report of an unresponsive 57-year-old woman at a home on Canterbury Road around 10 a.m. on Friday, July 17.

The Westlake Police Department and an ambulance responded to the scene and took the woman to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
