EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) -Temperatures soared into the 90s on Sunday with humid conditions creating “feels like” temperatures in the 100-105 range. Scattered storms, some producing locally heavy rainfall, will fade away after sunset. Overnight lows will drop to near 70 with patchy fog/smoke across the Tri-State.
Monday will be hot and humid with highs around 90 and heat index values in the upper 90s. Smoke from Canadian wildfires will create hazy conditions and air quality may deteriorate through the day. Air quality may become unhealthy for those with breathing and heart conditions by afternoon.

Spin up tornadoes and hail cannot be ruled out, but the risk is still low as of Sunday. Storms will most likely organize into lines by the afternoon and evening on Tuesday and sweep through by late Tuesday night…
