Portland cyclists set a new world record Sunday morning, drawing 1,060 electric-bike riders to a downtown loop that more than doubled the previous mark.
The City of Portland Bureau of Transportation was awarded the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title for the largest electric bicycle ride on July 19, 2026, taking the crown from Seattle, which previously held the record with 405 e-bikes.
