BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — For one final time, thousands of cyclists traded four wheels for two, taking over Buffalo’s Skyway for a ride unlike any other.
“It is our largest SkyRide of all time,” GObike deputy director Kevin Heffernan said. “We’ve got over 2,000 people here who, almost all of them registered in advance, long in advance, it’s been a lot of excitement about this.”
“I hate to see it go, I mean, this is like the crown jewel of events for the biking community,” Harvey Miles with East Side Bike Club said. “It’s a big part of the biking community; coming together and seeing each other, having fun, promoting health and wellness, and also safety education.”…
