PRICHARD, Ala. (NBC 15) — The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred during the early morning hours of Sunday, July 19, 2026, in the area of 405 South Wilson Avenue in Prichard.
At approximately 3:45 a.m., Mobile County Sheriff deputies responded to reports of shots fired near Fry Daddy, located at 405 South Wilson Avenue. Upon arrival, deputies located Deonti Charly suffering from multiple gunshot wounds behind the business near a vacant building in the 400 block of East Main Street. Charly was pronounced deceased at the scene.
While deputies were investigating, they received information that a second victim had been transported by private vehicle to a local hospital. Investigators identified the victim as Ken Reed, who sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Reed is currently receiving medical treatment for injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening…
