Rochester nursing home employee accused of embezzling $150K+

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — An employee at a Rochester nursing home has been accused of stealing thousands of dollars from its residents.

The NYS Attorney General’s Office says 56-year-old Tammy Echols worked at St. John’s Home as a senior account specialist. Her role was to bill residents and families for expenses not covered by Medicaid and to issue refund checks.
