A cult-favorite fried chicken restaurant is coming to Brooklyn

Philadelphia’s favorite crispy, golden-fried chicken is crossing state lines. Love & Honey Fried Chicken is making its NYC debut at 229 Flatbush Avenue, just steps from Barclays Center, later this month.

Love & Honey came to be in 2017 thanks to Culinary Institute of America grads (and power couple) Laura and Todd Lyons, and quickly became a Philly sensation with a cult following. The fan club boasts local legends like Questlove and Kylie Kelce, alongside critics who have showered them with accolades like “best in Pennsylvania” and “a double-fistful of next-level flavor.”

So what’s with all the hype? It all starts on a Delaware farm, where the chickens are humanely raised, vegetarian-fed and kept strictly antibiotic- and hormone-free. Once in the kitchen, the chicken is brined, hand-dredged and fried to order before being crowned with a light, signature drizzle of honey…
