Investigators may be closing in on solving the mystery of the ‘I-70 Killer’ case more than 34 years later.
In the spring of 1992, an unknown serial killer claimed the lives of six store clerks in 29 days across three states. Authorities in multiple states concluded that the murders were committed by the same person based on eyewitness accounts, ballistics tests and one awfully specific pattern: each murder took place in a store right near Interstate 70.
