HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WMBF) – One of the men at the center of a jail fight caught on surveillance video at Horry County’s largest detention center is blaming a guard for his severe and permanent injuries.
Chance Benson filed a lawsuit July 13 in Horry County Court of Common Pleas against Horry County, the Horry County Sheriff’s Office, and the J. Reuben Long Detention Center.
