LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Las Vegas Metro police received several reports on Monday of convincing calls threatening arrest for a missed court date or jury duty.
Police want the public to know that scammers often use several tactics, including claiming that a person has failed to appear in court, missed jury or grand jury duty, or has a warrant out for arrest and must immediately pay money to avoid arrest.
