The City of Reno and the Reno Police Department are mourning the death of Master Police Officer Lance Tindell, a veteran officer who served the community for 18 years.
In a statement released July 20, 2026, the city and police department said Tindell’s “dedication to public service and unwavering commitment to the Reno community touched countless lives throughout his career.”
