VIRGINIA BEACH, Va (WAVY) – Virginia Beach City Manager Patrick Duhaney has appointed Emily Archer as the director of the City’s Department of Economic Development.
A veteran of the department’s leadership team, Archer has served as acting director of the department for the past six months.
Archer brings more than 20 years of experience in both the public and private sectors, with extensive expertise in planning, project management, and community collaboration.
