ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A 30-year-old man has turned himself in after being wanted in connection to a shooting in Albemarle and an officer-involved shooting in Charlottesville earlier this year, resulting in attempted murder charges.
The first shooting took place at around 7:30 p.m. on April 25, when officers with the Albemarle County Police Department were dispatched to the 600 block of Lockesley Terrace after someone called 911, saying they were in distress and needed help.
When officers arrived, they found blood and property damage from gunshots, but no victim. They learned later that an unidentified victim had been taken to a local hospital with serious injuries…
