Goose Creek man sentenced to at least 9 years in federal prison: DOJ

GOOSE CREEK, S.C. (WCBD) – A Goose Creek man was sentenced to more than nine years in federal prison after being found guilty of possessing two firearms as a convicted felon.

Evidence obtained during the investigation revealed that Thomas Lamont Ancrum, 37, of Goose Creek, led officers from the North Charleston Police Department on a high-speed chase on August 12, 2024, according to the U.S. Department of Justice’s South Carolina District.
