Henderson Police reminding drivers of new school bus stop arm law

HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – Henderson Police are reminding drivers of the new school bus stop arm law for Kentucky.

The law went into effect July 15, and the new rule says drivers must stop for a school or church bus with its stop arm out and red lights flashing from either direction on all roads.

The only exception is if one is traveling in the opposite direction on a road with four or more lanes that is separated by an elevated barrier or unpaved median…
