HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — A bridge on the Posey County and Vanderburgh County line has reopened.
According to the Vanderburgh County Commissioners, Broadway Avenue is now open between Posey County Line Road and Old Mt. Vernon Road. The road closed back in March to replace the existing bridge on Broadway Avenue.
The original bridge was built in the 1930’s, and its replacement was funded through INDOT’s Community Crossings Matching Grant program. The reopening is over two weeks ahead of schedule, as the original reopening date was August 7…
