17-year-old charge in connection with downtown shooting that left 1 dead

PENSACOLA, Ala. (WALA) – Pensacola police detectives have made another arrest in connection with a downtown shooting that left one person dead and another injured.

Detectives have charged 17-year-old Marley Foster with possession of a weapon by a Florida delinquent and firing a weapon in public.

Police said a round fired by Foster struck one person. That person sustained non-life-threatening injuries and declined to pursue charges against Foster, according to Pensacola police.

Police said the investigation is coming to a close and they do not anticipate any further charges being filed…
