(FOX40.COM) — Multiple overnight road closures are expected next week as construction for the South Watt Avenue Improvement Project is underway.
The Sacramento County Department of Transportation said there will be two consecutive closures that will last a few days, all beginning at 7 p.m. and ending at 6 a.m.
The intersection of Fruitridge Road and South Watt Avenue will close Monday night and reopen Tuesday morning, before closing that same night again and reopening Wednesday morning.
The second closure begins Wednesday night at the intersection of Elder Creek Road and South Watt Avenue. The intersection will be closed the nights of Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Each closure will be followed by a reopening Thursday morning, Friday morning and Saturday morning.
