WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – The Wichita Police Department’s Homeless Outreach Team is working to make sure those who are unhoused are staying safe in the extreme heat.
HOT Officer Brittney Graham says the department has put an emphasis on getting out the word since Sedgwick County Emergency Management notified them of the heat advisory.
