AURORA, Colo. (KKTV) – On Wednesday, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office (EPCSO) announced the arrest of a subject on charges related to a shooting near the 2300 block of Reed Grass Way on July 7.
One person, 39-year-old Michael Fell, was pronounced dead at the scene. According to law enforcement, at least four masked individuals were seen fleeing the scene.
According to Wednesday’s release from the Sheriff’s Office, 18-year-old Damonte Linwood was arrested in Aurora on July 16. He faces charges of Second-Degree Murder and Robbery in connection with the case.
El Paso County Sheriff Joseph Roybal said “This arrest marks an important step in the pursuit of justice for the victim and their loved ones… While an arrest has been made, this remains an active investigation, and we will continue to work diligently to ensure everyone responsible is held accountable through the judicial process.”…
