Lightning arrived to the Eugene area July 22.
According to Lightning Tracker, as of noon there were 121 lightning flashes in the Eugene area within the last 24 hours. Most were in a long stretch west of Junction City to Corvallis. There also were clusters east of Florence, west of Cottage Grove and north of Harrisburg.
