BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — One of Buffalo’s most beloved summer traditions is back this weekend with the return of the Galbani Italian Heritage Festival.
Here’s what you need to know about the three-day festival.
When is it?
The Italian Heritage Festival runs three days from Friday through Sunday. It is open from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Friday, July 24, and Saturday, July 25, and from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday, July 26.
Where is it?
The festival returns to Hertel Avenue, though it is shorter than some prior years. It will take place on Hertel Avenue between Delaware Avenue and Virgil Avenue in North Buffalo.
Events
Events include a bocce tournament, the 2026 Miss Italian Festival, the Ilio DiPaolo Grape Stomp, a pizza eating contest and Sicilian puppet shows.
The Entertainment Stage will feature a variety of performances throughout all three days of the festival.
