VB man sentenced to 27 months for unlawful filming

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — After pleading guilty to 16 counts involving filming men in public restrooms, in gas stations, hardware stores and malls. Aloysius Albritton was sentenced Wednesday to 27 months in jail.

A Virginia Beach Police officer testified there were over 200 videos on his phone. Tyler Ewing, a previous victim of sexual assault, was one of eight who was identified on video and testified against Albritton.

“The most important thing for me to say to him and let him know is that I’m not just a collection of video or pictures for his disposal or whatever he’s doing with it,” Ewing said. “I’m an actual person. And this impacted me to the point where I can’t use a public restroom anymore without looking over my shoulder or having someone watch out for me.”…
